My 5 year old has always found it difficult to spell. I bought this as an effort to help him spell the word 'because', after reading this book together he hasn't stopped repeating 'big elephants can add up sums easily'! The fun elephant illustrations made it very engaging so he didn't lose focus, as he typically does with books! Even asking him now, as I write this, how to spell 'because' he's still managed to retain the spelling which is fantastic
